Upholding the quality of hot spring waters
Among the over fifty inns in Ikaho Onsen Town, only five of them offer both types of onsen waters: Golden Water with its long history, and the more recently discovered Silver Water. The textures of the waters differ from each other, so enjoy bathing in both at Fukuichi's large bathing room.
Large Bathing Rooms & Open-air Baths
The men's large bathing room "Fuku no Yu" and women's large bathing room "Ichi no Yu," located on the 3rd floor of the Manyo-kan building, offer baths fed by both Golden Water and Silver Water. We offer a sauna and a variety of amenities, too.
Fuku no Yu(Men's large bathing room)
Large baths fed by two renowned onsen waters: Golden Water and Silver Water
Flooded with natural light and surrounded by fresh air, the open-air bath is fed by Golden Water. Immerse yourself in the soft onsen waters and embrace a blissful moment.
Ichi no Yu(Women's large bathing room)
Surrounded by the refreshing fragrance of the forest before your eyes
Floor-to-ceiling windows look out upon the beautiful greens of the trees, healing your fatigue and bringing you into the romance of travel. Enjoy a good soak in the open-air bath while feeling the comfortable breeze off of the Haruna mountains. Choose your favourite from the women-only "shampoo bar," offering over 20 varieties of shampoo. For families, a baby crib and kids' chairs are available.
